ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Environment and Facility Services department in Williston, VT that possesses the ability to oversee multi-faceted projects (including but not limited to assessments and remediation; PCB investigation in educational facilities; and brownfields) from conception to completion.

This professional will support all aspects of projects including performing project scoping, contract development, project, and staff management/oversight, assisting in the preparation of plans and details, conducting field meetings; and assisting in report and permit writing activities. The project manager will also be responsible for working with other project managers to assist multidisciplinary projects lead by other groups; and supervising and mentoring a team of engineers, scientists, and support staff, and business development activities for both existing and new clients.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, geology, or related discipline
  • At least 10 years of relevant working experience
  • Previous project management (contracts, business development, design, QA/QC) experience required
  • Vermont Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist license preferred; Asbestos Designer license encouraged
  • Strong AutoCAD and GIS knowledge required; 40-Hour HAZWOPER required
  • Knowledge of VTDEC IRule and EPA TSCA regulations
